Lawson update! He went potty for the first time, which is REALLY exciting :) However, he hasn't gone since, lol, but nonetheless this is progress. We've also been doing a lot of baking at home, digging in the dirt, working from home and at the bakery, puppy watching, more digging in the dirt and going to the pool. Oh and helping daddy put all 1,000 pieces of our new office desk together! Which turned out gorgeous and was totally worth it. We are in full summer swing and hoping to be able to take a much needed vacation somewhere (anywhere!) soon!!!
Inside the life of a southern belle making a home of the west coast with her supportive husband, adorable baby boy and health inspired bakery! This is an inspirational blog full of sweetness, love and creativity. Hope y'all enjoy every recipe, project and adventure as much as we enjoy creating them on our days off from Half Baked Co.

Lawson's First Trip to Disneyland!
Lawson's first trip to Disneyland was a total success! Minus getting car sick twice on the way down and then making daddy get sick cleaning it up, lol. Definitely won't forget the start to that trip but other than that we could only go up from there, right, and that we did.
We met Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Mickey Mouse :) Lawson had a blast on all of the fun rides and since we went during the week (a crazy busy week at the bakery, of course) there were few lines that we had to wait in. In fact, we walked right onto It's a Small World, I was shocked! Still my all time favorite ride. I think daddy and I both agree that the Jungle Cruise and Nemo Submarine rides are at the top of our lists for favorite Disneyland rides too. Lawson might have liked the Buzz Lightyear and Pirates ride best, it's hard to say, he really liked them all. How could you not?!?
I didn't get a Mickey ice-cream pop or Dole Whip :( but that is on my list for next trip! However we did get to go to the Rainforest Cafe, which Lawson was in total awe of, and a nice little Italian place for dinner the other night which was right across from our Hotel in Downtown Disney, where we got a table side balloon show that was a total highlight of the trip. We also got to have breakfast with the characters which was really cool!
It was definitely a good idea going this time of year, the weather was perfect and we beat the Summer AND Spring Break crowds :) Here are some fun photos of our Disneyland adventures!
