Lawson's First Trip to Disneyland!

Lawson's first trip to Disneyland was a total success!  Minus getting car sick twice on the way down and then making daddy get sick cleaning it up, lol.  Definitely won't forget the start to that trip but other than that we could only go up from there, right, and that we did.

We met Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Mickey Mouse :)  Lawson had a blast on all of the fun rides and since we went during the week (a crazy busy week at the bakery, of course) there were few lines that we had to wait in.  In fact, we walked right onto It's a Small World, I was shocked!  Still my all time favorite ride.  I think daddy and I both agree that the Jungle Cruise and Nemo Submarine rides are at the top of our lists for favorite Disneyland rides too.  Lawson might have liked the Buzz Lightyear and Pirates ride best, it's hard to say, he really liked them all.  How could you not?!?

I didn't get a Mickey ice-cream pop or Dole Whip :(  but that is on my list for next trip!  However we did get to go to the Rainforest Cafe, which Lawson was in total awe of, and a nice little Italian place for dinner the other night which was right across from our Hotel in Downtown Disney, where we got a table side balloon show that was a total highlight of the trip. We also got to have breakfast with the characters which was really cool!

It was definitely a good idea going this time of year, the weather was perfect and we beat the Summer AND Spring Break crowds :)  Here are some fun photos of our Disneyland adventures!

Vancouver Trip #2 and Mom's Visit

We had another great trip to Vancouver!  Daddy got lots of work done and Lawson and I did more exploring :)  We stayed in North Vancouver this time, at a super budget friendly hotel that happened to be inside one of the markets/malls on the water and had a blast checking out the new area.  Lawson and I got to walk around all of the shops and restaurants while daddy was out for all of his meetings and then we all got to test out some new restaurants together for dinner :)  Then on Saturday we went to the aquarium, which was incredible!  You can see from some of the photos below how amazing it was.

Mom also came out for a visit to our house and we got to go hiking and see the animals at the petting zoo at the bottom of one of the trails, which was really cool.  Lawson even got to feed a baby dear out of his little hand :)  It has been a really nice past month.  Lawson continues to talk more and more, full on phrases and sentences now, which is surreal but also super neat.  He has really become a world traveler and constantly asks to go on a "plane trip" and packs his suitcase and backpack on a biweekly basis, hahaha!

Here are some fun photos from mom's visit as well as our trip to Vancouver :)
